Ryan Garton is an Art Director and Set Designer working in film and episodic television. His work focuses on translating architectural environments and narrative concepts into fully realized built sets for stage and location production.

He has worked with a number of leading production designers, including Jamie McCall, on projects such as Doctor Odyssey, Schmigadoon!, Candy, and American Crime Story: Impeachment. His work frequently involves developing detailed concept renderings and design packages that guide large-scale stage builds, period environments, and location transformations.

As an Art Director, Ryan collaborates closely with construction, set decoration, locations, and production teams to bring complex environments from concept through build while balancing schedule, budget, and storytelling needs.

His work has been recognized with an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Production Design for a Narrative Program (Schmigadoon!) and two Art Directors Guild Award nominations (The Prom, The Killer).

Ryan is based in Los Angeles and works on productions throughout North America.
